Part 2 of “how we got where we are” as promised! This one takes the facts from last time a bit deeper. More honesty, more frustration. Again, it’s a doozy, 10 minutes long.

Thanks for sharing your heart. We are blessed that you are here in Greeley and at GWC. I know God has some awesome things in store for you and your ministry to our youth. Our prayer is that God so richly blesses all ministries at GWC that we become in total AWE what God is capable of doing if we just let him use us He wishes. Blessings to you, Brandi and Ruthi. We are priviledged to have you here. God’s timing is perfect.

Eric
I’m excited for you that you have your passion back! The kids up there in Greeley are very lucky to have you. That said I for one wish you were still here in OK. I plan on looking you up if I can ever get Vern to make another trek out that way on the bikes.

Thanks for sharing, but no need to defend yourself against God’s will. If he intended you to be where you are and you listened to him you did nothing to be ashamed of (oh,btw always nice to include that you listened to your wife’s opinions!). While we miss you terribly in Warrenton and your wonderful wife and darling daughter, we can’t be responsible for keeping you from God’s work and in these days with computers and phones and alternate travel options you are never TOO far away! We love you guys and hope that God continues to grow you in his will! Just don’t forget everyone who loves you guys so much that we did shed a few tears to see you go. We are sorry that we could not nuture you in the way you needed, but you must always do as God leads, because in the end he IS your ultimate source of fullfillment and who you are doing this whole thing for! We are just happy to have had the time with you guys that we were given.
God Bless you and your family and may you always remember and return to your HOME. (When God allows)

Hey! Wow – so apparently it’s been awhile since we FB chatted! Big changes. I heard a lot of things in this message, but perhaps the most profound was that you’ve learned to listen to your woman. ;) Nice work. What a difference it will make… seriously. Don’t ever underestimate a wife’s wisdom!
Glad you’ve found your fire so that God can kick it up a notch! Anything less than your hottest flame would be tragic, Eric Ebbinghaus!
